Why this forum ?
The Municipality of Strassen, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, has faced a number of challenges in more than 2 years of successfully implementing social and humanitarian projects to support Ukrainians.
In particular and among others:
-
in the process of promptly transferring humanitarian goods to Ukraine;

transferring funds from Luxembourg to Ukrainian charitable foundations;
-
financing of educational and socially important projects that have been implemented and continue to be implemented both in Luxembourg and Ukraine.
Understanding that other organisations, foundations and volunteers who help Ukrainians have faced similar challenges, we want to share our experience in facing and overcoming them and to jointly develop an algorithm for constructive actions between the participants of the Forum.
"In view of the new challenges in the modern world and trying to find more effective ways of interaction between people and the EU countries, we created - Bridges of Solidarity: Humanitarian and Social Initiatives from Cities to Cities - which aims to host international forums with the idea of discussing freedom and encouraging stability and
peace in the world."
